There were nearly 50 exhibits at this show. They arrived on short notice and were very welcomed. All three scales were represented -- 1", 1/2", and 1/4".
Bruce Plumb unveiled his Castle Box which, like last year's "Perspectives", was overwhelming and unbelievable in its detail.
Kathy Force, originator of the naked babies, returned to the circuit with several of her projects, including "The Housewife's Nightmare".
The 1st Place award went to Kathleen Kelly Moore of Portland for her two-room box entitled "Aunt Violet's Dining Room 2009" (which she finished the night before the show).
2nd Place went to Melinda Small Paterson of Smallworks for her "Wicker Room", a two-room box with a nursery and sitting room furnished in wicker.
3rd Place was awrded to Nancy Weinberg for "Weinberg's Ice Cream Store", a scene right out of the '50's.
And 4th Place was another award to Melinda Small Paterson of Smallworks for "Good Neebors Gate Toy Store", a thatched roof, stone walled store with 300+ dolls.
